I love wrapping gifts!  They sit in my living room under the tree for almost a month
so I think its important to make them look pretty.  Below are some

Let me know if you have any gift wrap tricks

Marsala

As you may already know Pantone picked their colors of the year
and I couldn't love them more.  My favorite of the bunch is Marsala.
Which one did you love most?

A Clean Start

Welcome to the new and improved Decor Amor!
This was quite the weekend.  It was full of heartbreak, love, and memories.
I have been toying with the idea of combining Decor Amor and A L P
for a while now but carrying all 600 posts with me from the past felt a little cluttered.
But then I woke up Saturday morning only to realize that 90% of my photos were gone.  Poof!
In one mistaken click of my mouse years and years and years of my work gone.
Heartbreak.

After a bottle of champagne I decided this was the blank slate I needed.
Thus the re-branding and reformatting of this blog all in one weekend.
It was so exhausting but more rewarding that I could ever have thought.

Even though I'm still upset to have all of my photos gone,
I am going to make the most of this and look forward to a fresh start.
Below are the blogging headers I used through the years
(and somehow managed to not disappear).  I hope you enjoy and
thank you all for joining me on this new adventure!

Wreaths, Garland, and a Tree

I love my little apartment a lot.
So decorating it for the holidays is something I look forward to all year long.
This weekend Justin and I are going to pick out a wreath, garland, and a small tree.

The photo above is not my apartment but it looks a little similar.
My favorite piece of Christmas decor is the fresh garland
I hang over the doorway into our breakfast nook just like the photo.

I hope to post some photos of festive apartment soon.

Flower School: Holly Berry

Holly berries add that perfect pop of red to a classic winter wedding bouquet.
They also make for beautiful centerpiece additions and cake decor.

Holly is available year round and has a vase life of around eight days.
You can learn more here.
You can purchase holly berries here.

Happy Wednesday.
